Savvas Apartments

“ This hotel was diabolical. Ive been to quite a few 18-30 and 2wentys hotels before, so i kind of knew what to expect, however Savvas was terrible.
i wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone.

We paid for a 2 bedroom apartment - we got a one-bedroom. When we complained - we were told all the 2-bedrooms had gone...?! The apartments were filthy - there were condom wrappers and food under the bed, a dodgy lock on the door, no toilet roll.

Money went missing from our room on the second day. We had locked the doors/patio and they were still locked when we came back after a day of sunbathing...so it doesnt take a genius to figure out who took it. Clothes went missing. Food was eaten.

It wasn't just us either - we spoke to other people there and a lot of people had camera, phones, clothes etc stolen from their rooms.

I'd go back to Laganas but definately not Savvas.

“ Top Tip: The food is really cheap out there and there are loads of places to eat. One really good restaurant was Bon Appetit - off the main strip. Really good food and very reasonably priced.

“ More a hotel for younger people, near the main strip, good bar and good people.

“ Room was very basic,only cleaned every other day and had a weird smell about it sometimes - think it was something to do with the water! There wasn't a proper shower either,you had to hold it above your head!!! Pool area was the only good thing about this place,was very good for young people-plenty of banging tunes and lots of beer!!

“ I stayed in the apartments which were not clean at all. The bed sheets were changed every 2-3 days.The hotel is an 18-30's hotel which we were not aware of. You hardly get any sleep as people are up all hours of the night and early morning making noise. The pool is disgusting, you cannot even see the bottom of the pool or your feet for that matter. The only thing that made up for it were the staff. They were very friendly and were always able to help. The hotel is at the end of the strip which is furthest away from the beach. The food in the hotel bar is very basic but fairly priced.

“ Top Tip: If you visit Zante you must try the Sorocco restaurant as the food is lovely and v.good value. It can be found on the strip heading towards the beach on the left :) Also you must visit the St Nicholas beach which is a 25 minute taxi ride or you can get free transport via coach which has various pick up points down the strip. You can do various watersports which are discounted if you choose to do more than one.
