“ We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and it was quite shabby then, it has not improved but it is a lovely place to stay, we have stayed in much nicer hotels in the Caribbean, but we still went back to The Rex. The birds on the lake are fantastic and we think the beach is great. For value for money it is very good.
“ Top Tip: The Aquarium Restaurant at the end of the beach is fantastic - we walked from the hotel, along the beach. The food is very good

The Grenada Rex hotel is set in a beautiful location very close to the airport but is not at all noisy from the planes landing. Ideal location for the beach and has a lovely pool, it is good for just relaxing. The food was really nice and plenty of it, along with cocktails and drinks.
The room was quite basic although very clean and comfortable.
Nightlife in the hotel consists of singers and bands, for any other nightlife i.e. Clubs, you would need to go to St Georges.
Overall I had a lovely relaxing holiday. Shame about the flights there and back though.
“ Top Tip: A must is a trip around the Island with James Tours, for £35 it was a fantastic day out, visiting waterfalls, natural springs, spice plantations, rum distilleries, various towns and the rain forest. This also included a two-course lunch.

Having previouly stayed at Rex resorts on other Carribean Islands we had an idea of the standard of service we could expect. Grenada Rex Resort exceeded our expectations. Good value, cheerful, helpful staff. Right on a good beach, beautiful grounds with large lakes and interesting flora and fauna.Very close to the airport, 7 minutes to walk, but with no intrusive airport noise in the hotel or grounds.
No easy access to night life which suited us but maybe not for younger people wanting music and dancing and a "wild" night life.
Highly recommend.
