“ We felt very comfortable while staying and found the staff helpful whenever we asked. There was some noise early one morning due to clearing up after their Hungarian Oscars event. Enjoyed the pool and spa facilities. Breakfast fantastic.
“ Top Tip: Magdalena Merlo Errerem, 1072 Kiraly utca, just over the road for a good reasonably priced meal. Use 24 or 72 hour passes, which covers all modes of transport, for economy and ease.

Quite simply the best I have ever stayed in!
Guest Roll of Honour includes stars of screen and stage iuncluding SPORTS STARS AND TEAMS SUCH AS Real Madrid and Liverpool F.C.
Service impeccable and magnificent (and cheap) patisserie within which serves dleicious rose wine during the afternoon
Rooms first class and an elevator direct from the 5th floor to the wonderful spa and pool
Lost my credit card in buda then duirng the next morning the TV switched itself on to tell me my credit card had been found in the restaurant I had been in. how clever is that?
The hotel has great history (a book is avaiulkable at recption) and the famous Terror museum is just aropund the corner

“ Had a very pleasant stay at the Marriott Budapest. Think it's a great idea that EVERY room faces out onto the river which was really beautiful, especially at night ... Rooms lovely and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a delight and a huge selection to suit everybody's taste. Would recommend this hotel. Travel Republic a great site to book your hotel.

A classical building with historic background, Le Meridien, is ideally located in the heart of Budapest close to main pedestrian shopping street within walking distance of the Opera, Parliament and Danube River. 192 bedrooms and 26 suites are all decorated in grand hotel traditional style. There are three restaurants an a la carte, a French gourmet Le Bourbon, the Café Atrium, and the Terasse Restaurant. Each evening a live jazz trio are in the Adria Bar. On the 8th floor is an indoor swimming pool, exercise room, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Thai and Swedish massage on requested.
“ All the staff at this hotel are very pleasant and most helpful. We were offered the use of the hotel towels for the thermal bath visits we made off site and these were replenished as soon as we requested clean towels on our return.

The Carlton Hotel is situated at the foot of the famous Fishermen's Basin and the romantic Castle Quarter. The city's central business and shopping districts are close to the hotel. The hotel has an excellent, central but quiet location and offers the best in modern comfort. The hotel boasts 95 bedrooms which are all equipped with air conditioning, television, telephone and minibar.
