“ Chose this hotel based on the reviews we read and we were not disappointed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms generously sized. We had a standard room but still had three windows looking out over the view of the mountains.

Grand Hotel Reykjavik is a first class hotel for business and leisure and is situated in a quiet area of the city, within easy reach of all attractions and business districts. All of the hotel's 314 comfortable and spacious guest rooms are well equipped with first class amenities. The hotel opened a 14 floor tower extension of 209 executive rooms in the summer of 2007. All the rooms have high speed internet access and room service is available 24-hours a day. The in-house Brasserie Grand is an exclusive a la carte restaurant, and at the Atrium bar guests can enjoy drinks and light snacks.

In Borgartun, 2 km from the centre of Reykjavik. 3 stars hotel located in the suburb of Borgartun, 2 km from the centre of Reykjavik. Approximately a 40 min drive from the airport and with nice views over the nearby bay. Hotel facilities include bar, restaurant, front desk, meeting/conference room and parking. The rooms have bathroom/shower, telephone and satellite TV.
“ This budget hotel is great for a cheap stay in Reykjavik as it is very clean and the continental breakfast is quite substantial. It is not suitable for people with walking difficulties as it is approximately a 25 minute walk into central Reykjavik.

“ Great location. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed in a studio apartment. Rooms were clean with plenty of space. Nice comfy bed and fresh towels every day. The apartment had a small kitchette which had all the basic utensils and a two ring hob.

“ Excellent location. Our room was fairly small but had everything we needed, heating and double glazing very effective. Some minor problems in room, for example broken towel rail and no bath plug. Good choice of food at breakfast. Overall very good value for money.
