“ Very friendly staff, always helpful and nothing was to much trouble, we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, we would use this hotel again. Breakfast was good with a good selection of items. Waffle maker is a great idea. Hotel is very central for restaurants and bars.

“ I booked this for my husbands 40th birthday and was really happy, we were offered a historical room, which was lovely, small but perfectly formed! The hotel staff were brilliant, they were so polite and booked us a couple of trips and recommended and booked restaurants for us. The hotel is in a great location, just of the high street so nice and quiet but within 5 mins of the shops and restaurants. I would definetly stay there again if I decided to go back to iceland.
“ Top Tip: Svarta Kaffi is a lovely bar just up and around the corner on Laugavegi 54- you will see it with an advert outside for the best soup in town and indeed it is! It comes in a bread bowl and is great to warm you up - they do a soup and beer package that I would definetly recommend! Also Italia is a good restaurant also on Laugavegi!
