Jóhanna and Mummi, the owner of Skálakot bought the farm from Mummis grandparents Bjartni and Kata, 1985. The farm is located in the beautiful area of Eyjafjöll in the South part of Iceland. Skálakot owns around 150 horses and 300 sheep. Stay at our farm and see how our everyday looks like. Join us to round up the horses in the morning, take a hike with Orri, enjoy Jóhannas food or sink down in our Jacuzzi. We have both a doormitory with bunkbeds with windows overlooking the riding hall and to the Vestmanna Islands. We also have a familly room on top floor with private bathroom with one dubbelbed, one singel bed and the possibility to put a madrass on the floor.
