“ Due to the early start on our departure day and because we paid as part of our deal for bed and breakfast we asked for a form of takeaway breakfast. This was agreed the night before our departure and next day nothing had been arranged.

Unsatisfactory

Check-in date:
“ Hotel is grubby. Badly in need of renovation. Rooms can be a hit or a miss, on this visit we had one room in each category. Breakfast was very average but ok. Beds were comfortable and clean. We will not be returning to this hotel - ever!
“ Top Tip: Eat out good pub food served locally

“ strong stench of what smelt like furniture polish....stains in bath with peeling enamel....washbasin top heavily stained....turned shower on and it wouldnt go off had to get a guy up where he turned on the hot bath tap then turned off the shower so that is how i had to get the shower off....couldnt use the shower as it was to hot couldnt get it cooled down....looking forward to a good lie in but due to noise from the street and then the smoke alarm going off at 6.50 didnt have a great night...smoke alarm went off because someone left the bathroom door opened and the steam from the shower set it off.
