  • Reception was efficient and friendly , room was first class , exceptionally good value , breakfast was self service , some of the selection was jaded , cooked sometime earlier and left in heating trays , otherwise standard Irish breakfast . Bar was very busy and service a wee bit on the slow side , mind you big crowd at bar when I visited . Overall rating 9/10

Very Good

Check-in date:

Very enjoyable hotel, quirky, modern, snazzy decor and the rooms are very well appointed. Breakfast excellent, staff superb all round. Only complaint is the noise from traffic during the night, I was constantly awoken by cars, lorries etc. throughout the night, though we were facing the road so maybe ask for a hotel towards the back.

The room was nice, food in restaurant very good but I wouldn't class this hotel as 4 star standard.
The biggest disapointment was the bar. When we went for a meal there was a small bar there which i just thought was part of the restaurant. It turns out it was the bar for the hotel! Pretty poor to say the least. Would expect a separate bar in a 4 star establishment.

Magnificent

Check-in date:

The room was a good size, very clean. It had two beds, a single and a double, a TV, and tea making equipment. the bathroom had a shower and the towels were changed daily. All the staff were very helpful and very friendly nothing was to much trouble for them. The breakfast was included in the price we paid, and you could eat as much as you liked, full Irish, cornflakes, an assortment of hams, cheeses plus fruit juices. We ate in the restaurant which was a little expensive but excellent food.
All in all an excellent stay at this hotel.
