“ Overall very pleased with this hotel. Very good spot near bus and railway station and good starting point in exploring Venice. Disappointed that a room with a view, i.e. Grand Canal, had a supplement of 50 euros a night which is prohibitive. Helpful and friendly staff and we would recommend and go back to this hotel.

“ Excellent room. Very spacious. Lovely breakfast. Free wifi on the ground floor which was very handy. When we arrived, we had requested twin beds for everyone, however there were no twin rooms left, sorbet gave us a king size bed and a folded bed.

Built in art deco and renovated in the year 2000, the hotel includes a four-storey building, a large terrace, full of flowers and a inner courtyard. There are a total of 69 rooms of which 3 are singles and 66 are doubles. The air-conditioned hotel lobby contains a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk and 2 lifts. Guests are also offered a bar, a conference room and a public Internet terminal. Car parking facilities are available as well as storage of bicycles in the cellar. Furthermore, a bicycle hire service is available. Room and laundry services as well as medical assistance complete the services on offer at this hotel.
“ We had an excellent time at this hotel - it's well located for the vaporetto stop, local shops/restaurants (including co-op) and the beach. Service was very friendly and excellent local information was available from reception.

“ We stayed in the Hotel Continental for two single nights, on pre-cruise on 26th August and one night post cruise on 3rd September. The first stay the hotel reception were not particularly friendly, and dont really make much effort to understand English (but guess really, it should be us making the effort with Italian, but hey !!).
