“ An excellent Hotel. Not quite five star but very close. We had a room with balcony (table and two chairs) overlooking the lake which was well worth it. The room was in excellent condition as was the bathroom, which was marble lined with lots of bits and bobs like body lotion, shampoo, shower gel, shower caps, nail polish remover pads, shoe polishing pad etc etc.

The hotel Du Lac is situated in Gardone Riviera, on the Garda lakeside, near the berth of the public shipping line. The hotel Du Lac has 39 rooms, all are equipped with private bathrooms with hair dryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, heating, air-conditioning (only from 15.06 to 15.09), desk and radio. The breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant from 8 a.m. until 9.30 a.m. The restaurant will be open from 01/04/2010 till 30/09/2010. In the other period, from 01/01/2010 till 31/03/2010 and from 01/10/2010 till 31/12/2010 lunch and dinner in the restaurant near city centre. The beautiful hotel Du Lac offers a panoramic terrace with snack bar, lounge, bar, restaurant and well-appointed and comfortable rooms. Beach, tennis court, free or private parking. A safe is available for use, free at the reception desk.

“ The hotel was really relaxed and quiet but not sure if this was because it was outside main holiday season. Room was spacious and v comfortable. Breakfast was superb with great selection and all staff very attentive, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble if asked for something.

“ I stayed there with my family for 4 days. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, from my 12 year old daughter to my 70 year old Mum! The hotel is very convenient for shops and restaurants. The ferry stop for Lake trips was less than 100 metres from the hotel.

“ We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Du Lac. Views from the small balcony were fantastic and the hotel is very well located for nearby restaurants and the ferry around the lake. Although the hotel does not have its own car-park the receptionist was very helpful giving us directions to a nearby free car-park.

The Residence has been constructed with typical materials and painted in typical colours of the surrounding villages. All the apartments are spacious and luxuriously furnished each one with veranda or balcony.
