Location
This elegant hotel is located directly on the Corso Buenos Aires. It takes just a few minutes by foot to reach the centre of Milan with its scores of shops and attractions, including the cities most spectacular tourist sites. The underground station Lima is located immediately in front of the hotel. It is well worth taking a trip to the coast which lies some 80 km away and to the nearest ski resort which is 50 km from the hotel.

“ We was made very welcome by the hotel staff and our room was spotless with a free safe available to use.
“ Top Tip: The tube was situated right outside the hotel, we was able to purchase a 24hr rail ticket from the reception for a few euro. I felt this was a real bonus as it enabled us to see alot more of Milan without costing us a fortune in taxis

Smashing hotel, with polite helpful staff. The hotel is brilliantly placed right next to the Lima underground station and on the main shopping street in Milan. It is also only about two hundred meters from a bus stop on the city tour bus route.
Trams can be accessed about 50 meters away. We would definitely go there again.....tomorrow please!

Top Tip:
La Pizza di Geppo is a brilliant pizza restaurant (quite basic) but serving excellent pizzas at a really good price. This restaurant is frequented by many locals, and has excellent free wi-fi.
Go to the left outside the hotel, to the end of that street and follow the buildings round to the right. Well worth it!

We were thrilled to have chosen to stay in this hotel. It was lovely and excellent value for money. The hotel is situated in Corso Buenos Aires which is a busy shopping street but although our room fronted directly onto the street, we heard absolutely no traffic noise. We had a triple room with a Kingsize+ bed and a single. The room was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The bathroom was lovely with a superb shower. The atmosphere at Best Western Galles in Milan is informal and friendly and the very helpful staff reflect this.
Situated where it is, there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and it is only a 10 minute walk to Centrale Station and the Duomo and fashionable shopping areas are also within walking distance. We found that we walked everywhere, but the Metro station is just outside if you don't feel like walking.
Breakfast is a feature. There is everything you could want, including champagne/fizzy wine if you fancy a bucks fizz for breakfast.
Given the situation of this hotel, its ethos, comfort and excellent facilities, we would definitely return if we visited Milan again and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends.
