This is a beautiful hotel in a very quiet district of Milan but still within 10min. on the tram or bus to lovely bars and restaurants and also to a stunning park near the castle. The hotel was very clean and luxurious. Nice and spacious rooms with lovely bathrooms and a beautiful terrace. My boyfriend and I had visited a lot hotels in big cities but this one was truly great. It is important to us that it is quiet in a hotel with no strange noises from outside as we spend so much time walking and we appreciate our privacy in the evening staying in our room and relaxing.
We definitely recommend this place to anyone. Yes, you have to travel to the centre of Milan but it is only 10/15 minutes on vintage tram. How fun is that! If you hesitate, please do not. book this hotel for very little money and enjoy yourself in so many other ways as well.
“ Top Tip: Tram and bus stop is 1 minute walk from the hotel. Close to a beautiful park and on the way to the park you pass by a great area with trendy bars and restaurants.

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Even though I don't speak Italian, I will try and the people in the hotel appreciated this, I Think! The lady serving the breakfasts when we were there was very friendly and didn't laugh at me when I tried to say the room number, I found it to be a clean and friendly hotel and that made my holiday worth remembering for all the right reasons,

Room was very clean and well decorated. Lighting is adequate but limited so it appears quite dark, however you get used to it. No issues with shower, bathroom etc. Cleaned daily.
Hotel in general was clean and with a fresh reception. Breakfast was all that was required with the usual yogurts, meats and boiled eggs.( Bread rolls were hard which would appear is the norm).
Breakfast staff friendly; we saw three separate reception staff, one was friendly and very helpful. The other two it was just a job. However anything you asked you received a reply.
I would stay again when an offer was on.

Top Tip:
San Siro - AC Milan's ground is a 25/30 minute walk or short taxi ride.
Not near Metro line, however 5 minute walk to trams, number 1 takes you to various locations.

I booked this hotel for a weekend away for my boyfriend's 21st birthday. We had such a lovely stay here. The photo's do not do it justice, I was surprised when we arrived at how lovely it was.
This hotel is excellent value for money, it was so cheap but felt so luxurious when we got there, our room was on the corner of the hotel with two balconies. The decor of the room was a William Morris style with very grand draping curtains and lots of mirrors. The room was very clean and everyday we came back to fresh towels and bedding.
We didn't eat at the hotel(just to save money) but the breakfast always smelt lovely as we came downstairs.
It's really easy to get into Milan centre from the hotel, just a walk up to the local Piazza Firenze then get the number 14 tram and its about 15 minutes on the tram to the Duomo (centre).
The staff and the hotel were very friendly and were always able to help with what tram or bus to get.
Overall, we had a perfect stay we would definatly go back because four days just wasn't enough!

Top Tip:
In the Piazza Firenze there was a lovely little Pannetaire, where we bought pastries for breakfast in the mornings.
Also there was a lovely Pizzeria down one of the side streets from the Piazza that served such lovely food at really good prices.
Travel Tickets, you have to buy tickets for the tram, bus or metro(one type of ticket for all not seperate tickets) from a Tabbaci or a Magazine stand.
You can either buy a ticket that gives you an hours travel for 1 euro or 24 hours travel for 3 euros(so cheap!).
You buy your tickets in advance and then you validate your ticket when you get on the tram, bus or metro in the little red machine which stamps on the time you boarded.
