Ritter Hotel

“ Well situated near Duomo and good to get around, very close to Moscova Metro.

I had made a specific request for the light balcony rooms - and arrived to the dark rooms without balconies - I had sent a specific email to the hotel but they denied receiving this and instead blamed the travel agent.

I also got done in on their internet usage which was not working and ended up with a huge bill! - be careful!

In all did not spend too much time in room - but got used to it -- what else could we do??

Hotel was clean and breakfast was great and plentiful.

“ Top Tip: Take lots of sunscreen. The weather was intolerably hot, could not even tour properly! The city is filled unkempt and dirty and filled with Graffiti - a sign of the hard recession crisis???

Found Italians to be rather racist, as black tourists we received many uncomfortable looks and decided we would wave at anyone who looked at us! -- it worked when their glances turned to annoyance!:)
Italians will not help you if you don't speak their language - that just says it all -- they are so rude and condescending - we had to run out of shops at times as we were getting yelled at with utter vigour and impatience.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MILAN, I have visited other places but this was via a tour so it was very different ...and pleasant as I did not have to deal with rude, chauvinist bigots!
