Antiche Mura Hotel

“ Great hotel. Good central location. Fantastic service. Breakfasts were excellent and included a wonderful selection of freshly baked individual cakes and pastries alongside the usual selection of breakfast goods. The pool is in a lovely garden surrounded by lemon and orange trees. There is a good choice of salads and other meals for lunch around the pool and a also a good selection of cocktails and drinks which are also available in the hotel bar later in the evening. Standard rooms are small and overlook a neighbouring apartment block so if a view is important to you book a bigger room. Apart from the lack of a view the room was well equipped and comfortable. I would stay here again.

It is very close to the centre of Sorrento so it is easy to walk to the restaurants and bars in town and down to the port to get the boat to capri. It is also an easy walk to the train station. The buffet breakfast is very good and gardens and poolside very pictruresque.

“ Top Tip: Very close to hotel is a restaurant called Meating which specialises in meat. No starters but excellent main courses.
