“ The hotel is excellently located to see all the "tourist" sites on foot over a 2-3 day stay. I have stayed at the Cicerone three times now. The staff are very helpful and are very freindly. However, the hotel rooms are looking a little tired and could do with a bit of refurbishment.
“ Top Tip: The restaurant opposite serves great food at a good price. Come out of the hotel and head right, take a first left to the top of the street and on your left hand side is the best ice cream and coffe bar in Rome!

It's a great hotel. Very clean, modern and full of friendly staff. Our room was cleaned every day. The hotel is in Central Rome . It's near to all attractions especially to the Vatican.
We have been very lucky with it. We will definetely come back to Cicerone.

Top Tip:
It was hard to find a reasonable resteraunt in Rome. We tried two restaurants on our first day. The food was bad and expensive.
However we did find an excellent place from the "Eyewitness Travel book" .
it's called 'Da Giovanni' - A tiny place however the food was traditional Roman, home made food, was delicious and was very cheap, it was on Lungara street 41A and we recommend it to everyone.
