“ Top Tip: Small bar next door to hotel very good and reasonably priced. Found a few blocks away from hotel a 'locals' eatery called Pizzeria 80 Fame per Contatti - their pizzas are made fresh to order approximately 12 inches, come simply on a tray with a thin base and are the best pizzas we have ever had price from 5 euros - 8 euros.

“ Triple room was dark and tired, faded wallpaper, two dud light bulbs and a smelly handbasin. The room was clean and warm and bulbs were replaced quickly and extra pillows provided.

“ Top Tip: Three Arches restaurant is right opposite the hotel and was as good value and delicious as any other.

“ Modern clean hotel. Comfortable large double bed but room a bit small. On second floor at front overlooking fairly noisy street. Probably worth asking for higher up and at back... Bathroom small but adequate. Shower small. Would not suit overlarge person!
Breakfast very good: buffet with wide choice.
Reception staff very helpful. Extras such as tea-making equipment, face cloths, toothpaste, etc available on request - no charge.
Many restaurants nearby. About 0.5km from Termini, and much less to nearest metro and bus route.
Perfectly OK for our needs.

“ Top Tip: Good local restaurant, used by Romans and tourists, is at back of hotel in via Palestra (?). Can't remember name but Reception will give you their card with 5% discount.

“ The hotel and room were very clean, the rooms are basic but ideal for a weekend trip.
Staff were friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is easily found a short walk from Rome's termini station and was a good base to reach the rest of Rome by foot or metro.
