  • Excellent location close to Termini and also within walking distance of major places of interest if you are fit and enjoy walking. Rooms are clean and comfortable and all of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was typical Italian fare with enough choice to keep most people happy. We would definately stay at this hotel when we visit Rome again.

Our stay at The Impero, Rome was very good, clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Everything required was within easy walking distance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Top Tip: There are lots of restaurants nearby - and most of the sights you need to see are also very close. We used the Red and Blue Line hop on/hoop off tour bus (20 E's each at time of writing) and this was excellent value.

We were very pleased with the Hotel Impero. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. We asked for a double bedroom with a view and were given a lovely room on the 5th floor with access to the roof terrace. The hotel had a lovely traditional ambience. The room was spotlessly clean and had air conditioning and a safe. The bathroom had an excellent shower.
We asked for recommendations for a local restaurant and were advised to try the Antico Boheme in a nearby street. The food was delicious, the atmosphere cosy and the staff very welcoming.
The breakfast offered a good range of the usual continental breakfast fare, including yogurt, cereals, breads, cheese, eggs, salad, fruit, juice, hot drinks, croissants and pastries.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again if we return to Rome.

Top Tip: The Antico Boheme was a great little trattoria very close to the hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated for classical music lovers, right next door to the Opera. Also within easy walking distance of the Termini station, hop-on/hop-off buses at St Maria Maggiore, and the Colosseum.
