“ Too far out to really enjoy the city of rome without incurring quite considerable transport costs. Pools good bar area is poor and the restaurant is about average, overall not a 4 star hotel.. An average 3 star facility, staff in the main are helpful, discovered that general grumpiness is a basic italian trait so that said the staff are above average
“ Top Tip: Nothing decent close by so your stuck in the hotel if your not out on the town

In all honesty we took the decision not to stay at the hotel included in our package.
After actually looking it up on Tripadvisor, we decided to book another hotel.
Not one good review and the worrying thing was that more than one comment had made reference to the dodgy and unsociable area.

Hotel was too far away from city. Needed to catch bus then metro. Work being done on the metro late a night until April 2012 - this meant no metro after 9pm. So had to do long bus ride.
Never any Reception staff at desk to ask questions about transport etc.
Noisy room (133) across room from staff room - early morning banter from staff.
No tea coffee making facilities in room.
No mirror in dressing table.
“ Top Tip: Good reasonable priced resturant in Rome - near Trevi fountain area, named Nana. Staff very friendly good food and atmosphere. Would recommend this.

hotel was well maintained - clean and tidy
bar facilities were poor - no quiet seating area and the available alcohol was extremely limited
information on bus routes and metro would have been helpful in english
even though english speaking tv channels were advertised none were available
“ Top Tip: No - had to travel into the centre of rome for entertainment and good dining experiences
