  • Hotel well appointed away from the centre of Rome close to country side. Continental breakfast just adequate with a poor selection of cereals and just processed meats. Not many restaurants close by. Access to public transport good Reception staff efficient and friendly. On the whole value for money

  • Nice Suprise! this hotel was clean and good value for what we paid most hotel staff were helpful and very polite. Breakfast was ample and coffee tea etc fine. Area was a little out of the centre of Rome but still not bad as Metro was not far away Restaurants nearby and really good Club that plays live jazz music. All in all had fantastic stay in Rome so thank you!.

Unsatisfactory

This hotel is very far from a four-star hotel! Maybe it was a four-star 10 years ago but not now! It needs updating and breakfast is quite scarce.

Very Poor

The place is quite far from the center of Rome which meant that you need to do an atleast 20 minute walk from the Hotel to catch the Metro to get into the center of Rome. Either that or you take the only one bus which goes near the hotel but by doing so, you will miss a good few minutes of your time which is not handy those staying in Rome for 3 days the most. There's no evening hospital food service, so i suggest having a proper supper before going home to the hotel. Alternatively, there is a pizza delivery which is very cheap, the receptionist will help you order them and it is promptly delivered in the hotel. The pizza is considerable in taste, you get what you pay for basically. There have been 2 Receptionists in the morning that were very helpful and friendly but don't expect the same from the receptionists on the night shift. One night, we came back to the hotel after a long stroll and arrived with the door of our room open. When i confronted the receptionist, he just said that it could've been the cleaners this morning forgetting to lock the room and since there are no other clients on our floor that time, i should not worry about it. We were tired and just wanted a good rest that we just checked everything and when we knew nothing was lost, we didn't make too much fuss about the incident. I did however reiterated this in the morning and the receptionist assured me that he will make sure that this will not happen again. Our room was very warm and noisy. There was no aircon nor fan, so we open the window to let a bit of draft enter but by doing so meant that we hear everything that is happening outside along with all the vehicles passingby. On the upside, the shower room is kept clean and they were very generous with their towels. the big towel is even bigger than the usual ones we get in hotels. For the breakfast, we are lucky to be in the breakfast room early. But if you are an hour late, you might find yourself waiting for the ham or the cheese to be topped-up, and this takes a while.

Top Tip: This hotel is good for group tours where-in a shuttle will take you in and out of the hotel, or youngsters who have the stamina to make long walks. Otherwise, if you're not the fit type and if you're not that young anymore, I would not consider booking this hotel.

Breakfast was poor for your money but as it was the only meal paid for we coped. Very clean and tidy lovely large rooms and wonderful shower. Worth it but would not recommend the breakfast. Remember to ask at reception for the internet, you'll NEVER guess the key code.

Top Tip: search for restaurants in the area on Google maps, found a fantastic little Italian place, by far our best meal there and fairly cheap, was rated 29/30 so you can imagine how good it is even if it doesn't look much from the outside
