The Hotel Tivoli was built in 2000, next to the Grand Hotel Duca d'Este. It is a three star hotel and look over the same marvelous tropical garden that links the two buildings.

All the 44 rooms are well furnished, with a private bathroom with shower or tub, hairdryer, air conditioning, heating, fridge bar, satellite TV, direct telephone line, safe.

“ The rooms are excellent, as is the breakfast. The hotel is otherwise devoid of facilities. However, the hotel is twinned with the fabulous "Grand Hotel Duca d'Este". It is in the same complex, and you can use all of its facilities. (Check it out at www.ducadeste.com). Just beware the charges for using the Health Spa (including the Gym) - €10 a time. For swimming nuts, however, there is a 25m pool. When we stayed there, we had it practically to ourselves!

“ Top Tip: To go into Rome use the train not the bus. It is quick and cheap (€6 for a day pass, including all metro & bus rides whilst in Rome). The station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
