“ The hotel was excellent, however for UK visitors who are there for 2 weeks the entertainment is not too good, repetitive and rather dull. The staff who are there to entertain you are not well organised and some of the events are completely boring for kids over 10. The hotel although fabulous the distance to montego Bay is only 12 miles, very expensive for Taxis. Trips offered by Hotel is also very expensive especially when there are more than 4.
“ Top Tip: Sorry there is nothing close by unless you pay over $70 to Montego Bay - For my family we were not to bothered, however, we met other families and this affected their plans to travel outside

“ Had a great relaxing stay at this excellent hotel which is a relatively short drive from the airport - but you are never disturbed by aircraft noise. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Plenty to do for all ages in the hotel and complex. Food is good. We will definitely return.

If your staying here have an open mind on the food!
The food is good but don't expect it to be amazing just because it's Hilton. For the good food book Lune Di Mare or the 3 Palms restaurants when your there (small charge if you eat from the grill - steak/lobster)
Food in the main restaurant consists of a lot of Jamaican food and there seemed to be a 50-50 split on eating this as it can be spicy etc or just different and some people didn't like this! but you can still have burgers, pizzas, fish etc. Also freshly made stir fry cooked to your taste (spicy/non spicy, sweet n sour/teriyaki, prawn/chicken)
If you like eggs have an omelette for breakfast, they're excellent - cooked fresh to order in front of you. Bacon at breakfast I hated! (and I love bacon) so try this first before throwing chunks of it into your omelette. Bacon is very crispy but not in a good way - tastes funny.
Your on the beach to here and I found that a good pair of water shoes was needed to get past the first few feet of water as sea weed and rock seem to be forming close to the water front. I spent most time by the lazy pool with a drink lying on the giant rubber rings just floating :) - You can even float up to the bar without have to dismount your ass from the ring!
I would certainly go back here and the staff are very friendly too!

Top Tip:
Book Lune Di Mare restaurant as many nights as it is possible for. There's an extra charge of about $10-20US per person for steak/lobster (the expensive stuff) but the rest is included in the all inclusive price and the food is much tastier than the main restaurant. I had shrimp to start and steak for main and my girlfriend had shrimp for starer and chicken for main - drinks are still free for house drinks - we finished the bottle of wine of course and the bill was $10US plus 20% tax.
