“ Excellent position just outside the gates into Petra (easiliy walkable). Good standard in rooms - very clean & modern. Food of an excellent standard - lots of choice for breakfast & a lovely a la carte restaurant for the evening (also had a buffet style dinner in the other restaurant but didn't try this). Staff were extremely helpful - couldn't do enough for you. I travelled with a friend but would be happy to stay in this hotel on my own next time.
“ Top Tip: The Lost City of Petra was just outside - this is a fatastic place to visit - my tip - go early (opens at 6am) - we went at 7.30am, some people about but not many - on our way back (once we'd climbed to the Monastry & back), there were lots of tour groups around & the place was too crowded for me (we left Petra about 2pm). If you're of reasonable fitness, climb to the Monastry otherwise you can get a donkey to take you! (I have asthma and still managed the climb) - well worth the effort for the view at the top!!

“ The Movenpick Resort, Petra is a fabulous hotel with wonderful rooms. The proximity to the Petra site is most welcome after walking all day. The staff are friendly and very respectful. The BBQ on the rooftop terrace was absolutely delicious with fabulous views and sunset. Overall this hotel is absolutely worth the money and has the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on in a hotel. I will definately stay again when next in Petra.
