“ The hotel itself was nice although the pool was not in order so we were unable to use it. The restaurant was nice and the food excellent as was the service. The staff were very friendly. Which cannot be said for the staff at the reception who were quite frankly abrupt and rude. To ask simply for a taxi was akin to asking for a loan of £30.
“ Top Tip: The hotel is up in the hills and approx 7 km from the Petra attraction. That said if going to the attraction get a local taxi driver to take you. After picking up your tickets (JD 50 each). Get the taxi driver to take you to the gate at the top of the hill near the village. This means you walk down hill and through the attraction once instead of going in and out the same way.
