“ A very pleasant hotel very centrally located. Staff helpful, good breakfast. Food in Aleks restaurant (part of the hotel) was great and reasonably priced.
“ Top Tip: We don't usually frequent Irish bars but on a very snowy and cold Friday night went inside Donahans. A couple playing Irish/Latvian folk songs were excellent. The pub also served up a decent evening meal..

“ The hotel was very comfortable on a cold weekend in February. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Bedroom very nice. Used the sauna for a very moderate extra cost. We had excellent soup in the restaurant at lunchtime. Breakfast was not up to the same standard - very little choice and shortages (even butter)! The waitress was very pleasant and working hard - they seemed to be very short staffed at breakfast time. A very good value stay.
“ Top Tip: We took a 30min train ride from Riga to Jurmala and saw the frozen Baltic Sea.

“ A good position in the city, close to everything. Staff e-mailed with instructions of which bus to get from the airport and a map from the bus stop to the hotel. Good bus and stop very close to hotel. Rooms were good, although I prefer a bath to a shower, and no coffee facilities in room. Staff were good and we ate a meal there one evening. It was well presented good quality and with 20% off as residents good value. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone

Lovely hotel in the centre of Old Riga. Very tastefully renovated old building with plenty of character. Comfy bed and spacious modern bathroom.
Wonderful helpful and friendly staff, cannot praise them highly enough!
Would not hesitate to recommend the Justus hotel for visitors to Riga.

Top Tip:
For ice hockey fans, go and see Dinamo Riga play. Great game standard and fan support second to none. Arena Riga is just a short (Baltic) taxi ride from the hotel.
Tickets for a match can be purchased in advance from the 4th floor of Stockmann department store, within walking distance of the Justus hotel.
