No longer a Ramada hotel
Efficient front desk service if not over friendly front desk service.
Good sized bedrooms, reasonable standard of decor. Beds comfortable.
Breakfast average. !.5km from Old Town.
Represented very good value for money @£38 per night.

Out of the centre but if you want or need a bit of exercise it is ideal and certainly good value at this time of year. Rooms a good size, heating good, beds comfortable, safe, hairdryer etc.
Breakfast good variety.
Pretty empty mid week in winter but busier at weekends.

Top Tip:
Lido chain of cafes very good value. One about 200 yards away.
Do not change more money than you must at airport as rate rubbish 74 to £1. In centre of town some only gave 68 but if you look around you can get just over 80, particularly near the station.

“ This Hotel was a pleasant surprise everything about it is 1ST Class. So enjoyed my stay in Riga. There are some resturants that are near to the hotel but most are in the Centre, which is not that far to walk at all, as Riga is a Small City.

“ The Ramada is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and to be honest could not do enough for us. This ensured we had a wonderful experience in Riga. This is one hotel I would stay in again!
“ Top Tip: The Lido is about 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Traditional Latvian food but wonderful and keenly priced. Bonus that it is open 24 hours - so you need never be hungry. The Ramada also has a fantastic restaurant. All the sites of Riga are within 10-15 minutes walking distance.
