“ Pleasant and helpful staff, rooms clean and adequate, breakfast very good.
Placed a liitle to far out of the center in a slightly dodgy area which was fine in daylight hours but we had one incident after dark on our return from the city., nothing to troublesome but there were four of us and a couple on their own may have had more problems.

“ Top Tip: Take a guided tour round the old city, very informative an interesting, also train journey to Jurmela and the coast is worthwhile.

“ A pleasant hotel set amount less pleasant surroundings only a short walk from the lovely old town with it restaurants, bars and shops. It was clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was intermittent in our room but worked fine in reception. Breakfast was good (quality and range) and the breakfast room was a little small but no problems with the number of guests present.

“ Top Tip: The old town is so much better than the drive into Riga would indicate. One can walk into town via the railway underpass, via the river or through the market.

“ 10 min walk to centre so this is an ideal base from which to explore, rooms are basic but clean and warm.
Breakfast was more than sufficent, with plenty of choice, so easy to find something even if all that was avaliable was not to your taste.
Number 22 bus from the airport gets you near enough to walk to the hotel.
Free internet in reception useful.
Staff on reception were very helpful with where to go aand how to get there etc.

“ Top Tip: Went to the opera house within walking distance and saw 3 different shows on 3 different evenings. Admission was very reasonable with Tickets from 3 to 12 Lats on average.
