“ Arrived at almost 1am at night due to a delayed flight into Riga. I had pre-warned the hotel that we may arrive after midnight depending on our flight by proactively emailing them directly to confirm our booking via email and ensured I had a response before travel. However, upon arrival we were given a twin room, not the double which we had booked and that I had on my travel republic confirmation and hotel voucher. We were informed after waiting for the manager to call us that the hotel was fully booked and therefore they could not move us rooms. Overall a nice hotel, but totally let down by not getting what we booked and a bad nights sleep.

“ From check-in to check-out everything was 100%. Friendly and efficient staff. Immaculately clean and well presented room on 7th floor with views to the park across the road. Wi-fi and well-stocked mini bar in the room too. Taxi ordered by email to collect us from the airport was waiting for us on arrival (and the flight was late) and charge billed to the room. Excellent breakfast with a great selection in the ground floor dining room with glass "walls" overlooking a huge Christmas tree in the courtyard (as it snowed and snowed and snowed and ...... it was really festive). Evening meal in the restaurant was beautifully served, great choices and good value for a hotel. Well-stocked modern bar area with plenty of seating and a smiling bar staff. Location very good with a short walk to the old town across the park. Couldn't have wished for better ~ thank you Hotel Elizabete!
“ Top Tip: Find the Lido across the river ~ for cheap food and a great atmosphere. Can be accessed by local transport or a short taxi ride.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly very modern facilties lovely rooms with comfy bed, tea, coffee making. Breakfast was brilliant with a huge selection eggs or omlette how you like it prepared by the chef.
“ Top Tip: Worth a visit is Vairak Saules on Dzirnavu 60 not far from the hotel good food pasta, pizza with friendly fast service.
