Good

Check-in date:

An excellent resort for active people who don't mind hills and steps. It is unsuitable for those with walking difficulties and can be dangerous for young children. Its isolation is great for get away from it all vacations but the night life is limited therefore not good for party animals.
It suited my group of 50 somethings extremely well and we would go back again (tomorrow please as it is autumn in England)

Top Tip: Good choice of restaurants - hiring a car at the airport proved cheap and invaluable - prepare to haggle the car hire charge

Check-in date:

Large hotel spread accross the coastline/jungle. The hotel provided hopper buses to take you to and from your room - however we preferred to walk mainly, max 10mins. Premier Water villa's beautifully finished, most with stunning views out to sea, though some had restricted veiws. Hotel staff very amenable and friendly. Food very nice, especially at the beach resturant and Thai. Very near Oriental village for cable car, Japenesse and another Thai restaurant. Also very near the marina, where there are lots of lovely restaurants.
Cabs, tours and cae hire all on site at hotel.

Top Tip: Go to the Marina, lots of restaurants, very tasty food and only 20 ringits in a taxi to get there. You can get taxi's easily from the hotel and from the marina as well.

Check-in date:

The hotel serves a hugh breakfast variety. The chalet was clean and spacious.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Close by to hotel is Oriental Village and Cable Car which was the highlight of our trip with fantastic views of the island and resort.

The shuttle service bus was OK, the shuttle once took ages to collect us.

At night you can hear all sort of strange animal sounds and beware of monkeys they attack plastic bags on sight.

Top Tip: Don't walk around with plastic bags.
Catch the hotel shuttle bus to Oriental Village and to the city centre - Kuan. Hotel charge 18 return pp and if you take the taxi it cost 38 one way.
