“ We were fortunate in obtaining a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. The sun was on the balcony (street view) until about 4pm every day so this was an added bonus. Don't expect that if you book there you will also get a jacuzzi I think these are very limited.

The Dolmen Resort Hotel overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel offers stunning views of St Paul's Bay and St Paul's Islands and is close to many shops, bars and restaurants. All the bedrooms are tastefully furnished and well equipped with modern amenities. The hotel's restaurants offer a selection of local and international cuisine. The new sandy beach situated next to the hotel also offers diving opportunities (available from the hotel). The hotel has its own Casino.
“ The hotel was lovely, staff were extremely friendly and helpful as we arrived after dinner on our first evening there we were able to have lunch on our departure day this was by far the best meal of our stay. There was something to eat every day but after staying in a 2 star hotel where the food was great every day the food did not live up to what we were used to.

“ We liked the position, at the head of the bay and out from the main part of the town. Nice for walks through the countryside or along the beach. The food was very good, though the restaurant was rather cold in February. Very good value for money.

“ beautiful location and friendly staff.food was good and service was great. room facilities not the best bathrooms could do with an update. rooms next to lifts to be avoided as it was v noisy,the machinery groans v loudly!

The San Pawl Hotel is situated to the north of the island of Malta, located in the popular resort of St. Paul's Bay, and Bugibba centre is situated approximately 500 metres away with its many shops, bars and restaurants. A short walk down the promenade takes you along the coast of St. Paul's Bay, Bugibba and Qawra. The hotel has a games room, an outdoor swimming pool with extensive sun terraces and an adjoining children's paddling pool, an indoor heated swimming pool (heated during winter only), whirlpool and lifts to all floors.
“ good value for money, rooms cleaned daily, plenty of sunbeds, plenty of plain wholesome food, 2 pools always available. good location. would go back. lack of basic information on hotel facilities which are generally good.

The Mediterranea Hotel and Suites is situated at the top of Bugibba Hill. This location provides breathtaking views of the Bay and the neighbouring Island of St Paul's whilst the hotel is only a few minutes walk from the lively centre of Bugibba. The hotel and apartments are designed in a rustic style. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool and Jacuzzi which also provides excellent views.
“ May be a 4 star by Maltese standards but more like a 3 star. Room overall was fine but could have been slightly cleaner and TV didnt work. There is space to sunbathe on the roof terrace but you will struggle for a lounger as there arent many and are not very comfortable.
