The Grand Hotel is ideally situated overlooking the fishing hamlet of Mgarr harbour and the surrounding verdant valley. The hotel enjoys panoramic views of Comino and Malta across the Gozo channel. Viewed from above, the to and fro of the fishing boats and the incomparable vistas add a romantic touch to the excellent hospitality offered at the hotel. Guests often comment on how enjoyable these views are from the private sun terraces found in most rooms. The island of Gozo has become a heaven for holiday makers wishing to get away from it all. The island offers peace and tranquillity without sacrificing its entertainment potential. Apart from clean beaches for summer enjoyment, there are shopping centres and numerous discotheques, cinemas and a variety of exquisite restaurants. For those interested in unforgettable cultural experiences, Gozo is a treasure trove of prehistoric remains of international importance, museums and exhibitions. “ Good rooms,pool and breakfast. Poor room service and bar menus, frozen burgers and fish not up to 4 star standard. Good staff.
“ Top Tip: Hire a car you can see much more than waiting for buses.

“ Top Tip: Pay extra for a superior room with sea view and balcony - you really need to be looking out over the channel to Comino and Malta.

“ After one or two problems were reported to staff which were then addressed we enjoyed our stay.

Top Tip:
Bus service around the island was brilliant - remember to ask for a "day" ticket which will enable you to travel around Gozo all day for £2.50
Zlendi was delightful.
