  • The hotel had only been open a year when I visited so was brand spanking new and the room and all other areas of the hotel and grounds were pristine and modern. Food was very good, not amazing but good quality and enough variety.

The hotel had only been open a year when I visited so was brand spanking new and the room and all other areas of the hotel and grounds were pristine and modern.

Food was very good, not amazing but good quality and enough variety. Asian and Brazilian restaurants very good too.

Especially went for the sports and enjoyed beach volleyball, beach football, gymnasium and shooting. Indoor pool was useful as outdoor pool a tadge cold as early June.

I would recommend this hotel if you like the idea of an all inclusive resort where you don't need to venture out locally to visit restaurants, as there are barely any.

Info that may be of use:
Beach is across the main road opposite the hotel. Good sized sandy beach with jetski and water sports. Loungers cost - about 5 euros a day i think.

jetski cost 45 euros for 20 minutes.

Nothing to do outside the hotel in evenings - no other bars, clubs, restaurants of note so be prepared to taxi/bus if want evening trips out. Can walk down seafront paths if want to walk after dinner.

Towels are supplied at 10euro deposit each

Snorkelling on the beach area is not really any good. Best to do a trip to Blue Lagoon or better spots.

Go-Karting at Badger karting is evenings only and 17 euros single in a cab. No busses go past it. I didn't bother due to this.

men must wear long trousers and shirts with sleeves i.e. t-shirts in evening restaurants. Jeans were fine.

Advise to book this hotel sooner than later while it is so new and get the benefits.

Top Tip: Make sure you eat at the Asian (Chinese) and Brazilian restaurants at the hotel. Book them up in advance.

Spectacular

Our family absolutely loved this hotel! We could not fault any aspect of it. The lagoon pool was perfect for our 4 and 7 year old boys. The restaurants were all great. The room was fantastic! The entertainment was superb, and the kids clubs was loved by both boys!! Location-wise, the hotel is in possibly one of the most beautiful areas of Malta, although everywhere we went was so picturesque! All-in-all, this holiday was one of the greatest we have ever had, and the hotel played the major part in that. Our only regret was the extremely poor taxi service from the airport to the hotel which was nothing to do with the hotel. It was booked separately with Williams Garage and was atrocious and dangerous. For our return journey, we used the hotels own recommended taxi service instead, Drifter, and had an excellent journey.

Top Tip: Taxi's on Malta appear to be the biggest trouble tourists have - Williams Garage seem to get a large number of bad reviews, and we will definitely never book with them again. The buses are very good, and quite reasonably priced. The soft-scoop ice-creams from the kiosk on the beach opposite the hotel are fantastic! The views from The Red Tower are worth the trip, and you can see how small Malta really is!

Went all inclusive 10days which was just right.first impression not great but ok,hallway carpets were in desperate need of vacuuming, rooms were very clean as was the rest of the hotel.
Needs a ATM in the lobby, nearest one is a bus ride away, reception won't change money with a debit card so bring cash if your not planning to leave hotel very much.

Top Tip: Need cash on beach for beds

Great hotel. A proper 4 star that deserves it stars. Food was great, staff were all friendly and the pool and rooms were terrific.

Top Tip: There's not much in the local town. If you want night life outside the hotel (evening entertainment was average) then you'll either need a car or to stay elsewhere.
