“ Top Tip: did not find a special place to eat in but would eat the local restaurant as they give value for your money and enjoyed the service they gave

“ EXCELLENT VALUE. FRIENDLY STAFF, WOULD RECOMMEND.

A good value for money apartment hotel, very basic but clean. I opted for a self catering one bedroom apartment, expecting the bedroom to be separate from a lounge/kitchen. You get one large room with a tiny table and 2 dining chairs, 2 beds and no easy chairs which would have been appreciated. The kitchenette is very minimally stocked but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The bathroom has a fixed shower over the bath and the screen is also fixed to the bath which made having a bath awkward. The room was cleaned daily.
The view of the harbour is fantastic. There is a lot of traffic noise as the main road is right underneath your balcony.
“ Top Tip: We enjoyed walking the strand in the evening along the harbour front. There are many shops and local restaurants and a few pubs but no amusement arcades or night clubs. There is no beach within walkiing distance.

“ We were actually housed in an apartment some 200m back from the hotel. This was very roomy but quite loud. There was a bonus of free wi-fi but this was, possibly, being used by others from the outside who "stole" all the bandwidth on frequent occasions. I had to pay a deposit of 10 Euros for the TV remote, which was some cheap replacement basic device. The breakfast was a generous buffet but only of fair quality.
“ Top Tip: The Brown Jug, a bar just down the road, had great food and drink for very reasonable prices. There were bus stops right outside the hotel for the fabulously cheap and frequent buses that would take you anywhere on the island for just £10 for a week's ticket!

“ Have stayed in this hotel twice now, mainly because it is close to where some friends live in Gzira. It is a very friendly, clean hotel with a reasonable choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff in all quarters are extremely helpful and for a 3-star hotel we think it is very good. The whole island can be reached by public transport at a very reasonable price from right outside the hotel. Good value for money. We definitely will use it again.
“ Top Tip: Plenty of places to eat nearby - not that we used them, but we can recommend a very good restaurant called 'Irreras' a short distance away, used it several times as it has a large menu!!!
