The staff of this hotel were lovely. Without exception they were all very competent at their jobs, helpful and polite. I was disappointed with the hotel itself. It was tired, our room smelt of damp and decor needed renewing. The bannisters on stairs were rocky and would not have saved anyone if they fell against them. The swimming pool was a 5 min walk away, when you got there you had to pay 2.5 euros for a sunbed although the deckchairs were free and for some reason so were the sunbeds on the roof terrace - I was told that they were only free at the pool for 'all inclusive' guests - just a cheap & shoddy way to treat your 'still paying' guests. The roof terrace was un-kept and there was a stained mattress left at the top of the stairs. The breakfast was reasonable but the rolls were clearly kept over and were v.stale some days. The owners are lucky to have the staff who, through their professionalism, are definitely carrying this hotel

Check-in date:

This hotel is very good value for money and its location is superb for sightseeing. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to help. The rooms are certainly not luxurious, but you wouldn't expect so at very reasonable prices. They are, however, spotlessly clean. I would recommend the hotel to anybody.

Nice hotel, not 5 star but good value for the price, breakfast good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms small ( hey I'm only sleeping there) but well presented with aircon and immaculately clean. Bathroom excellent. Would be happy to come back again.

Top Tip: La pappa Italian restaurant, 5 mins from hotel on sea front. Excellent value nice food ,unofficial guide and help centre. For the Brit abroad "Lady Di pub" opposite hotel all premiership games on T.V. English beer on tap.Landlord gave us free sandwiches and snacks whilst watching the footy.

very clean and organised food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful.
near to shops within walking distance and public transport which is a new system
and has teething problems but you get to your destination in the end. entertainment was minimum at hotel but there are plenty of places to go as the
hotel is central to all destinations and night life. we found a vast improvement
from our last visit in may this year especially with choice of meals both in quality
and quantity. nothing was a problem and the whole holiday went well and we were both satisfied with our vacation.
public transport was well worth the 12 euros we paid each for a 7 day pass
we were all over the island from top to bottom excellent value.

Top Tip: lady di's pub 100 mtrs from hotel was very good especially for football enthusiasts and meeting lots of talkitive people having a good chin wag. the beer is good aswell.
also we went to the PUB in valletta which has lots of memoribilia of the Great Oliver Reed and ofcourse great Royal Navy history with flags pennants and ships
of the fleet.

I had a very nice stay there, all my initial queries were promptly dealt with. The cleaners came to clean every day and were very pleasant. I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel - a friendly and family like place. The receptionist and the duty manager and staff generally were helpful and friendly - all these made a big difference to my stay at the hotel.
