“ Lots of character and period features. The rooftop terrace overlooking Grand Harbour gives wonderful views. To my knowledge it is the only restaurant in Valletta that does.7.5 Very Good

“ we arrived in the middle of the night and awoke nxt day to have breakfast in the restaurant with the most amazing view over Valetta Harbour. Very helpful and polite staff Hotel is a former Paolozzo from the time of The Knights. Excellent location for exploring sights of Valetta.
“ Top Tip: Try a pizza in the Castille Hotel wine cellar

“ Reception staff extremely helpful and courteous. Restaurant staff were of a poor quality. There was no lounge bar. The outlook from one of our rooms was so appalling such that we had to pay a premium of 150 euros to move to an acceptable room. We could not see any air conditioning so this would prove a great problem during the hot months.
“ Top Tip: Close proximity to the superb Upper Barraka Gardens was a bonus.
