“ We stayed at the Hilton for a long weekend to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. I had narrowed my choice down to 3 hotels in Malta and all I can say is that I was so pleased that I chose this one. The hotel is fantastic and does not lack anything. From the moment you walk in you experience 5* grandeur. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful and cannot do enough for you, but in a sincere way and unlike many places they do not do this for tips and tipping does not seem to be expected. The rooms have everything you would expect from a 5* hotel and they are very well decorated and very clean and tidy. The hotel has a vast array of facilities and the only negative I can say here is that we didn’t stay long enough to use them all. If I were to put a negative point down it would be the prices of food and drinks. You pay on average twice the price for a drink than you would if you walked a few hundred metres down the street. On saying that, you are paying for a service and an ambience too so it is in keeping with the hotels stature. The hotel is quite close to the night life (approx. a 10 min walk) but excellently positioned so that if you want a relaxing break you can have exactly that without any hint of the night life being near by. It is also only a 10 minute walk to the harbour side bars and Restaurants which are excellent value for money and offer a very high standard. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody wishing to stay in Malta (providing it is within your budget).

“ Top Tip: Down in the local Harbour we found a great restaurant 'Galala' the food was great and a good price too. There are lots of lively bars close by also so you can have the best of both worlds!!

“ Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was exceptional, we arrived earlier than expected and as our original room wasn't ready we were upgraded to an executive suite.

“ Wonderful hotel in a great setting. Food is rather pricey, but extremely high quality. No criticism at all.
