Hotel is located north of TDD and is right on the beach. One surprising consequence of this location is some of the finest snorkelling to be found anywhere on Mauritius, right on thd door step! just look iut to sea, turn left and play in the stretch of water upto the next head land. This is due to two factors, the site has been designated as a conservation area and the barrier reef, which encircles the island, is unusually close to shore.
Everything we had read about the hotel rang true. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food is fantastic and the service is attentive and friendly.
It is an excellent option for anybody looking to stay on the classy and relaxed east coast without paying 5 star east coast prices.
P.S. the kite surfing nearby is first rate.
“ Top Tip: Chez Tino's restaurant is great. Try the octopus curry with green paw paw. It's impossibly delicious.
