Our Hotel was Gran Melia Cancun.
I paid all inclusive. But this hotel has some rules about all inclusive.
You can not have everything for free you have to look at the menu what is include in all inclusive.
Room was clean but needs to refurbished, it says 5*, i would say3*.
I was very up set when I had to check out at 12,
and I can not have a lunch after 12, because they took my band away.
I had to go to airport at 2pm. Last meal it was breakfast at 9 am.
I been many all inclusive hotel, and always I could have a lunch after check out.
I would NOT recommend this Gran Melia cancun.
But I DO recommend Travel Republic.

“ Excellent hotel. Staff were very friendly and were willing to help. The hotel entrance is magnificent and the oasis type decor was beautiful. There are a number of restaurants to choose from, each with a variety of food and varying from one day to the next. Near to the beach. Not near to clubs and restaurants but only a 5-10 minute bus/taxi journey away. Great evening entertainment.

“ We were given a free upgrade to an ocean view room which was really nice. Hotel was architectually stunning and very clean! One gripe would be the lack of outside bar area in the evenings. Don't really want to sit inside in a tropical climate! We usually had to use taxis to get to restaurants and nightlife as nothing really around the hotel's immediate vicinity.
“ Top Tip: The white sands and beautiful turquoise waters of the caribbean sea were right in front of the hotel, bliss!

“ We stayed in eight different hotels during our stay in Mexico and the Gran Melia was amazing and certainly the best. It is definitely a five star plus hotel immaculately kept and the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We have used this hotel in the past and would recommend it without hesitation. This is not a package holiday hotel and if you want first class service and an upmarket hotel this is the one. When we return to Cancun in the future we will only book at the Gran Melia.
“ Top Tip: This hotel is not in the Downtown area of Cancun which for us was a bonus. There are a couple of restaurants opposite but in all honestly you would not need to eat anywhere else. The food and service were outstanding and reasonable.
