Definitely is not 4*, especially ground floor and basement even not 1*. Last day of my stay in this hotel I saw cockroaches in the lift obviously it should be much worth in the kitchen. I had to stay there one more night, which I paid 560 dirham for ground floor room where telephone was not working, AC not working, no water running into the bath, then I had to go to basemen to take shower, none of the 4 bathroom has extractor fan working and you had to open the door to steam escape from the bedroom and it cause strong smell of damp in ground floor and basement and waste probably from switch pipes.
Staffs was friendly, however, they had to cover poor services. Food was poor and same every day, in one word there was no management.

we just got back from Morocco, and we had lovely time there. My little girl she is under 3 years old, got a lot of attention from hotel staff, people were lovely and friendly.hotel itself is beautiful and has nice decoration, room furniture is ok, a bit old fashioned but who cares, you only sleep there. food was excellent.!!!!
we went half board,so had breakfast and supper included. pancakes, fruits, yoghurts, eggs and pastry for breakfast - eat as much as you want, and a lot of dishes to choose from for supper, plus deserts and fruits.
waiters very friendly, remember each guest, and make you feel like at home.
chambermaids do their job well, too. room was cleaned every day sand towels changed. no complaints at all. beach is about 10mins walk from hotel. which is great, as streets during summer near the beach smell rubbish or maybe that was canalisation i dont know. thanks god we did not book a hotel on the beach.
“
Top Tip:
Near the 'Catanzaro' restaurant there is a fixed price shop with lots of souvenirs and drinks at very low prices. do not go to the shops near the beach - you will have to negotiate the price as they are sky high for tourists.
Catanzaro is good for lunch and dinner - you can have chicken or beef tagine for 55-60 dirhams. which is cheap. do not go for pizza - they are not delicious there.
La Savannah restaurant serves exceptionally good food. but is expensive. for 3 main meals( paella, beef tagine and grilled fish) and coke we paid 400 dirhams.
but the was best food compared to other places.

“ Very pleasant stay. Went on my own but found most of the staff very friendly. Although a 4*, upon arrival I felt the hotel was a little dated but the room and facilities were fine and very clean. Must say, it did feel that there were a lot of 'older generation' guests, mainly German and French and when the entertainment started at 9.30pm, most had retired!!

“ I would like to admit, that this hotel is the best one in Agadir and in Morocco. As I been staying in lots of hotels around!!! Staff were amazing. We felt very welcomed. I gave 9 of 10 just because of the gym! Time table is not flexible and you can't go and do your work at anytime, but the rest is great.

The Palais des Roses & Spa is superbly situated on Agadir's promenade, and has its own private beach area. It is built in the form of a Berber Ksar, reflecting genuine Arab and Berber traditions. One of its unique features is the majestic lagoon shaped swimming pool (3000M2). There are 4 restaurants, including Moroccan, a Moorish cafe (to smoke chicha), the Havana Clug (to smoke a fine cigar), piano bar and ocean bar with billiard table. There is also a bridge room, a mini cub with padding pool and games room, and clay tennis court. The hotel is perfect for seminars, with its own private entrance and parking area, a lecture hall taking up to 800 people, and two conference rooms seating 100 people each, as well as 15 sub-committee rooms. However, its the hotel's sea therapy spa (12 000M2) providing professional seawater therapies that is its unique selling point.
