Aparthotel Igoudar

“ Igoudar is in a good position for the beach and restaurants.It is very basic accommodation but is clean and ideal as a base to enjoy Agadir & the surrounding area. There is a good size pool which is cleaned every day but does tend to need cleaning again towards the end of the day because of flies, dust etc. It is very cold! The hotel would benefit hugely from some fairly simple measures to make it more attractive such as replacing outside furniture-tables, chairs, sun lounges etc. but in fairness it is cheap and you get what you pay for.

“ Have stayed hear before and it was lovely. Could not believe the changes,half the rooms are not useable or have been knocked down. Path ways are all broken up-not good if you are disabled as we all are.
No equipment in the apartment when we arrived although one we gave a list to reception everything was provided.
Would not go there again.

“ This hotel is basic but for a two star about average, we have visited this hotel many times before as it suits us and we find it is convenient to all amenities.
It would be nice to have a snack bar or coffee shop on site rather than having to use the hotel near by. Staff very friendly. Nice pool.

“ Very very basic (but was very clean). Initially put in apartment next to rubbish (very smelly) and was also the staff entrance which was VERY noisy when they were changing shifts - we could not keep the windows open at all due to the noise/smell. Less than half light bulbs working, none in the bathroom and only one in the entire living area. Electric hob also not working. Family next to us were moved on our first day and after complaining after midnight on our 2nd night (hotel thought it would be a good idea to start removing the rubbish in the early hours of the morning) we were also moved to another apartment which also had many missing light bulbs and the electric hob took 30mins to boil an egg! There appears to be some sort of scam going on with the local parking attendant who tried to charge us 150dhs per day (approx £12) and actually came into the hotel lobby with us to speak to the front desk about charges (although he did not work for the hotel) which the hotel confirmed as correct infact there actual words to us were, 'yes we know it is advertised as free parking but it isn't'- we then parked one street away and was charged £12 for the entire duration of our stay. Luckily my husband is Moroccan so he could sort it out, if I had been travelling alone I would have had no choice. I definately would not stay here again.
