“ We have just returned from a 4 night stay in the Kenzi Europa. The hotel is not what we would grade as a 4 star in England, the rooms are quite shabby, but we got fresh towels every day. There is a fridge in the hotel, but we got told off bringing a bottle of water into the hotel which we had bought outside! No kettle in the rooms. The aircon was broken the first night in the hotel and it was unbearably hot. It was working the next evening, but was useless so we slept each night with the patio doors wide open (so it was noisy instead!). We had booked on a room only basis and would recommend Le Nil Bleu restaurant on the beach to eat. I took my daughter for a few days in the sun and we did have a good time, but don't expect it to be 4 star. On a plus side, the location is very good!
“ Top Tip: Le Nil Bleu restaurant on the beach, 5 minute walk from the hotel. Ate one night at the English Pub, but would not recommend it, we had pizza and salad and it was very ordinary. Le Flore (a french restaurant) was very busy and would recommend for seafood.

“ cannot complain with the price I paid. rooms are quiet tired, again given the deal, cannot complain. very good food - all inclusive deal is very good for ever hungry teenagers.
“ Top Tip: the english pub just about 600 metres away is an exceptional social spot. the promenade by the sea is wonderful for walks and rollerblading!

“ Its definitely not a five star hotel but a nice one all the same. Its location is great, close to the beach, restaurants, bird park and mini-train station. There was an entertainment programme every evening which our kids really looked forward to and the animation team was fantastic. The lobby is very smoky and breakfast is reasonable. Im glad we did not go for the all inclusive option as the lunch and dinner did not look very appetizing at all. Nearby restaurants are far more expensive than what natives would normally expect to pay - its best to head for the main souk or the harbour for a cheaper, yet very tasty, option. The outdoor pool was heated which meant that the kids could swim despite it being slightly chilly. The towel staff were not always available which was a bit annoying as it meant having to hang around for the towels. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly and good with children.
