“ Nice large rooms with good facilities. Lovely pool area with ample number of sun loungers. Although there was a dart board , table tennis table and water polo nets there was no-one to organise any activities (might be that it was out of season - October). Quite a few steps to the beach so not reallly suitable for those who find difficulty in walking. Food was good. All in all a very nice hotel.

“ This is the second time we have been to this hotel. I has retained its moroccan charm. It no longer sells alcohol which is refreshing. The staff are attentive and very polite. The rooms were spacious and very clean. In all we were very pleased and will go there again
“ Top Tip: The Camel serves very nice food and the English Pub is good if you miss football and want to catch up

This is an honest review of our stay at Al Madina Palace Hotel. The hotel was amazing... lovely moroccan style reception with friendly and helpful staff with free wifi in this area too always a bonus :)
The restaurant was clean and the waiters were always on hand to supply drinks and clean plates away. The food was good and had a range of different culture menus. Time wise breakfast was from 5:30 - 10am and dinner was around 7:30 - 10pm it meant that if we were doing an exscursion early morning we didnt miss out on breakfast or if we came back later we could still have dinner worked out perfect!
The pool area was brilliant we had a choice of sun beds with an umbrella to provide us with some shade. There was a pool side beverage section where we could get drinks and food. Pool was clean and well maintained.
Leading up to our room we had nice greenary and flowers and a small bridge that once had water running underneath but there was none there over the whole week. Our room was amazing!!! Moroccan styled room with lovely hand painted doors and furniture. Bathroom was clean and had a big bath with a shower over head. We also had the please of doors that opened out on to the streets of Agadir! If you google Agadir you will see the arabic writing that is lit up every night on the hill, we could see this as well very clear.
It is no less than 5 minutes to the beach and around a 10 minute walk to the main sea front with the restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Try and walk along the beach though as you will get hassled all the time.
The only down side to this hotel was our room was a little noisey for example taxi's beeping their horns in the early hours of the morning but after a couple of nights we got use to it and to be honest we loved our view! :) Also in the restaurant the food was good but i think maybe if there was a bit more range and sometimes fresher food (we got there in the peak time so we got fresh food in the end). Drinks were not included with the halfboard holiday package this was annoying as not only we had to pay for drinks at dinner but it was expensive. You are looking around £2 for a water for example.
Overall I would definitely stay here again and would advise others too!
“ Top Tip: Travel agents just outside the hotel they did good tours all around Morocco from Camel riding to Marrakech.
