The hotel was pleasant and comfortable. I liked the location. The room was clean and fairly good for a Moroccan chain hotel but more European in style than Moroccan (probably popular with Moroccans). Reception on the TV was poor.
The buffett breakfast was a bit of a let-down compared with some other 4 star Moroccan hotels I have stayed in. Not much of a selection, staff not particularly helpful (mostly absent), never any spoons for fruit salad, soup etc.
Generally everything was ok at the price but I was underwhelmed.
“
Top Tip:
A lovely public square 5 mins away at the back of the hotel made for a pleasant walk in the evenings or mornings. Blvd de Paris just around the corner is a nice street for cafes etc. The Gare de Port station is actually pretty much walking distance (15 mins) when you know the way.
After my client cancelled my business trip, I realised the down side of this kind of booking compared to booking direct with a hotel. Even 2 weeks before, cancellation would have meant I lost nearly all my money (5 day stay). I passed on the cost to the Client (who was not happy) and went for a 5 day holiday rather than waste it. I could have done without it though. I won't make that mistake next time!

“ Very pleasant and helpful staff, largely clean and orderly. Rooms to the front are very noisy from the busy main road but staff were quick to allocate a quieter room when asked. Good breakfast buffet. Reception and lobby were being refurbished during my visit, so should be quite up to date soon.
“ Top Tip: If one walks towards the Maafi area, there are plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants for all budgets and tastes (about 15 minutes walk). The souks are close (opposite the Hyatt hotel) and the famous beach front mosque Hassan II is about 30 minutes walk away or 5 by taxi at the cost of about £ 2.50 (petit taxi)

It was really nice and perfectly located, 5 minutes from the center.
The best thing it was the breakfest with the salad fruits, cereals and much more.

It is an international chain hotel, but in casablanca you will want this! casablanca really is a dump, not much to see except the Hassan II mosque, which is worthwhile.
The food here is fantastic, we ended up eating here lots which i've never done before in a hotel. The breakfast is great, service is fantastic, all in all it was a great stay.
Only small thing was that the toilet seat wasn't attached to the toilet. Not sure how this had slipped past housekeeping, but i can't claim that it was a major problem - and probably just a one off.
“ Top Tip: I recommend the steak and chips in the downstairs restaurant. They are to die for - especially after a diet off tajines and pastilas.
