As a new establishment, the hotel has 156 rooms, providing a harmonious blend of ethnic tradition and contemporary features. The hotel has a conference hall, which seats up to 120 people, in an elegant and peaceful setting, as well as a lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and check-out service, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom and safe. Guests can be pampered at the hairdressing salon, enjoy a drink at the hotel bar or dine in style at one of the hotel's restaurants. The spa will charm you with its oriental feel and the gastronomy will surpass all expectations with its mix of Moroccan and international cuisine, as well as its fish specialities. The hotel also provides both room and laundry services and a car park for motorists.This city hotel was built in 2008 and is located on the seafront, a 15-minute walk from the Medina of Essaouira.The rooms feature king-size beds with contemporary and homely decoration. Rooms are fitted with en suite bathrooms including a shower, bathtub and hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include a minibar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safe, double beds, Internet access, lounge area and beautiful views of the pool and the Andalusian gardens. In the interest of comfort all rooms are fitted with centrally regulated air conditioning and central heating.Within the hotel grounds there is a swimming pool with children's pool, poolside snack bar, loungers, parasols and a hot tub. The hotel spa offers a sauna, steam room and gym, while guests can also relax and indulge in a massage or one of a range of beauty treatments.The reception is open 24 hours. Pets are not allowed. People from muslim countries/religion need a marriage certificate to share a double room.

“ The Atlas is a really decent 5* hotel, right on the beach and only a short walk to the Medina (about 10 minutes). The food is more French/ international than Moroccan but you can get your fix for more traditional food in the Medina at lunch/ dinner. The cakes at breakfast were amazing! Rooms are spacious and beds very comfy, bathroom very nice too (we even had a bath!) Staff are pleasant and helpful if you have any questions. We found wifi connection quite weak but that didn't bother us as we were on holiday so didn't really need to go online (there's a computer in reception you can use which did for us).
“ Top Tip: We found a great hammam/ spa at Ocean Vagabond (or something like that!) just down the road from the hotel (it's next to the post office near the beach) - only 250 dirham for an hour massage and the lady was excellent and you could use the hamman before/ after for free. The stall owners were a lot friendlier than experienced in Marrakesh and Agadir - if you're polite and friendly to them they're the same back!

“ Stunning hotel with genuinely helpful and friendly staff a short walk from the medina and across the road from the beach. The bedrooms are well appointed and clean but would have been nicer with a balcony which was a missed opportunity. The spa is a real treat, luxurious and relaxing. The traditional food is good but the European food a little unusual with mismatched food group combinations. The waiting staff are attentive and unobtrusive but the dining room was not very well managed with a shortage of crockery and cutlery at breakfast and slow replenishment of food and drink keeping everyone waiting. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel in the future. Perhaps it would be more accurately classified as 4star with potential!

“ Really great hotel, lovely big rooms and great garden / pool area. They have a vast array of food for breakfast and there is something for everyone, bacon and eggs, cereals. cakes, fruit, coffee etc. BREAKFAST IS BRILLIANT!! very peaceful and the staff are great, any problems, no matter how small are sorted out straight away. We went to chill out and had a restful time, the hotel is pretty quiet day and night. Would recommend to anyone
“ Top Tip: The cafes on your walk down to the medina on the right (same side as Atlas) are the best value and the cleanest. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel,
great service, be prepared if you are English as a most of the waiters and staff dont understand English except some of the receptionists do, we actually watched the waiters arguing between them selves who was going to serve us, which was quite funny!
Rooms were excellently furnished just no draws...be prepared to as they do not provide tea making facilitys in your room, we brought a kettle whilst we were there.
But overall I would stay there again.

Top Tip:
If the beach water is muddy and dirty looking, as sometimes when it rains the river at the left side of the beach washes mud into the bay if it rains....
If you cross the river there is fresh clean sea and secluded beach with hardly anyone one it....its a good mile walk but its worth it....

“ A wonderful hotel right on the beachfront. We were upgraded to a sea view room which had amazing views. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. Food in the hotel was good. The only problem we had was cashing travellers cheques in the hotel. Although it states on their website and room brochures that they do accept these they initially refused to cash them and then were very reluctant to take them from us. With some difficulty eventually they were accepted. Overall a lovely hotel and would defintaley reccommend.
“ Top Tip: Silvestros is a fantastic little authentic italian in the medina where the spag bol is amazing and they serve italian red at the right temperature!
