The facilities in the hotel were very good the room was clean and well kept but there is a disco which is in the basement of the hotel. It starts at 12pm and finishes 4am which is annoying you can not sleep with the live music playing. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind. But the disco is something they can not do any thing about.

Top Tip: the train station is not very far la gare fez bout 10 mins walk and 4 mins in a taxi and from the airport 15min drive if there is no traffic.

I was scared by previous comments that the hotel my be noisy in the night because of the night club, in fact it was not, I heared the music but it was not loud at all, I slept very well, may be my room was in the other side of the hotel.
the breakfast was very good, open with plenty of nice food that matches every taste.
the staff were very polite with every body and very helpful.
I enjoyed very much staying in wassim hotel

Top Tip: The Hotel was near to the main train station, and the big mosque for prayers, there are a lot of cafees.

We had twin beds and both bedsheets were tatty and torn down the middle. The curtains were ragged and hanging off. There was no satellite tv, so no news in English. The fridge was disconnected and the plug had been removed. The heating worked and the hot water was ok. There was no guest information in the room and no telephone info. Breakfast was of the usual Asian/Oriental variety. There was plenty to eat although it was the same every morning, but the bread and croissants were stale. The floor was dirty and there was broken glass. When I mentioned the glass to the head waiter he moved us to another table and ignored the glass. Our second 4* hotel on our tour - we stayed 3 nights - and for the second time no way is it a 4*.

Top Tip: After a long walk round on our first night we found the Cafe Pizzeria La Parrain. Great local atmosphere, good food and cheap. Only problem was no alcohol. We went back 2nd night. On our 3rd night we went by recommendation to Isla Blanca on the main drag to the left of the hotel. Superb! Food and staff excellent, but more expensive.

Lovely hotel, clean, modern, friendly helpful reception staff, helped us with booking trips etc. Quite a popular hotel with business people while we were there, conferences etc going on. right in the new town, easy walking distance to the old town (about 25mins) lots of restaraunts etc around, buffett breakfast every day, continental. We though this hotel was leagues above a 3star we stayed in at marrakech, you defintiely get more hotel for your money in the new towns, if i went again i would choose somewhere with a pool, but coudnt fault this hotel.

Top Tip: in the new town, restaraunt marrakesh - see the Lonely Plant for directions = VERY nice food and a lovely little place, also try Peacock Cafe, for an afternoon cup of tea and fantastic cakes.
in the old town, we went to el fassei, a restaraunt that has entertainment - quite alot of 'extra' charges, for the tips, tax and entertainment but a fun night out on our last night, you definitley need to book though !
the spa - cant remember the name but its on the main avenue at the top of the hill on the left was amazing - posh hammam and massage for about £24 per person !
