Acacia Riad is a guest house five stars situated ten minutes from the centre of Marrakech and the famous Jemaa El Fna square , in the touristic road of Barrage and Amizmiz, and just minutes from the airport. Surrounded by gardens where you can relax around swimming pool. The is property of over 2 hectares of garden, trees, swimming pool, sunbed, bar and restaurant, barbecue, large dining room with pool table, lounge area and restaurant. We have a cocktail bar and snack menu for the day and restaurant for the evening. We also propose a selection of treatments and massage with a intense feeling of well-being. We have three suites, one family suite and four rooms supérior. Every room and suite are decorated in a different way allying the Moroccan tradition. The rooms are air conditioned with bathrooms private. Acacia Riad combining luxury and genuine comfort is a perfect venue for to enjoy the calm and serenity in this small part of paradise after the agitation the souks.
“ TIP No 1 when we arrived at Airport[strange] there was nothing orginised to meet us, not knowing much French and all the locals in your face!!! it's quite daunting...........that area of the holiday needs better attention.

“ The Riad and staff were both excellant. They arranged for transfers from the airport, without which I think we would have struggled to find the Riad, this being our first visit to Marrakech. The staff were really helpful with tips and hints on how to get around (without getting lost), how to bargain and where was good to eat.

Dar Fakir is a Riad de Charme located just 3 mins walk from Djema el Fnaa square. It reopened at the beginning of 2011 to visitors after a complete refurbishment. We differ from other riads in the sence that we offer an extensive service over other riads including not only the normal cooking courses but yoga, artisanal workshops and a very intimate service bordering onto concierge at very affordable rates. We provide extras such as meet and greet throughout your stay if required by our security guard during the evenings and at night. Mobile phones are provided to guests on request and are free of charge during their stay. We spend a lot of time with the guests making them feel welcome in the riad but also at home in the hectic maze of the Marrakech Medina. In total 5 languages are spoken in the riad - English, German, Swedish, French and the local Arabic, Darija. The rooms all have individually embroided bed linen made from Egyptian Cotton. The toiletries provided by Sence de Marrakech...
“ There are over 600 riads in Marrakech and the journey into this one is an eye opener and a great insight into the culture & ambience of this wonderful city. The market area is a stones throw away but as soon as you start to walk down the alleyway towards dar Fakir you become very aware of the peacefulness descending.

If you e-mail Hamid in advance he will arrange an airport pick-up for you at a reasonable price (including walking you to the door as the Riad is in a car-free zone and is well-hidden).

“ The Riad was excellent, and the staff delightful and very helpful. Meals were of a high standard. The only drawback was the location, in an impovereshed area, although once inside the Riad, it was an oasis of calm.

“ A very pleasant hotel, though sometimes a little disorganized. The claim was that it had a hamman (not while we were there, the lady was off for a week) nor was there a gym (was in the adjacent partner hotel).
