Lots of little touches make this a really relaxing home from home. You are welcomed with complimentary mint tea and pastries, mineral water and a bowl of fruit in the room. Better than average towels, soaps and shampoos. The only thing lacking in the bathroom was a plug, for some reason a common occurrence in Morocco.
The room was spacious and comfy, but we spent a lot of time on the roof terrace. We also had an evening meal which was very good.
A taxi was laid on to get us back to the airport and everything ran smoothly. God willing, we will be going back.
“
Top Tip:
Phone the riad as soon as you get to Marrakech. They will come and get you, saving a lot of hassle.
The Rue De La Kasbah is not far away, with the Stork cafe, whivh we always try to visit, when in Marrakech.

This is a lovely small riad (just 6 rooms), with excellent customer service - it feels that nothing would be too much trouble for Said and his staff. The location was perfect - in the south just within the medina walls, in a very quiet residential location, but around 15-20 minutes walk from the square, and even closer to some of the southern sights (Saadian tombs, El Badi, Bahia palace). The room itself was very quiet and comfortable, with very traditional decor. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the roof terrace, where you could sit out in the sun in deck chairs or sofas, or on the cushions in the Berber tent. We took the generous breakfast (with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice) on the roof terrace every day - which was served whenever you wanted. I would recommend eating in the riad in the evenings - we had some lovely home cooked meals up on the roof under the stars. Siad can also organise trips out of Marrakech, which seemed to be reasonably priced - contact the riad in advance for more details.
As with all riads, due to all the stairs, this would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems. It would also be unsuitable for small children due to all the balconies and terraces.
“ Top Tip: Ask the riad to pick you up from the airport - they will send a car which will take you to the nearest gate, and then someone from the hotel will come to meet you. Otherwise it would be quite hard to find!

“ The owner, Malika was extremely welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. She arranged for a guide to take us around the old city and organised day trips for us. At an extra cost she was very happy to provide an evening meal. As a local she gave us the best advice on where to shop and what to spend. The riad was typically Moroccan and very clean. I would definetly return.
“ Top Tip: A day trip to Essoiura is definetly recommended...in fact a few days there would be great. Lovely seaside town. 3 hrs traveling time from Marakesh

Excellent hotel would thoroughly recommend. Made extremely welcome from the outset and all of the staff could not be any more helpful or friendly. Nice to have the personal touch that you do not get in larger hotels.
Excellent area only 10 minutes walk from the tombs and the large square where all of the restaurants and entertainment are.
