The Riad was superb.Isobel, the owner, and Sanna were very welcoming and friendly, and attended to our needs. They were particularly helpful on providing information on how to get about, and what prices we should be paying. They gave us a phone number of their preferred taxi driver, who we used several times.
Although it was located down an unpromising back alley, once inside it was an oasis of calm. They greeted us with some refreshing mint tea. The room we had on the top floor, classed as superior, was excellent. Very clean, with fresh towels and the bed re-made every day.
We dined in the riad most evenings and again, the food was superb. Overall we would have no hesitation in recommending the Riad Vert, especially, if like us, you dislike the blandness of the larger hotels.
Only one word of caution - the stairs to the second floor (the top) could be a bit challenging for the less able.
“ Top Tip: One of the highlights of our stay was a visit to the Majorelle Gardens, and if you are reasonably fit, you can walk there from Riad Vert in approx. 25 minutes. A private transfer from the airport is a definite must as cars struggle to negotiate the narrow streets in the Medina area, and you have to walk for 5 minutes to get to the riad - but a private transfer should ensure the driver walks with you to the door. Otherwise it would be hard to find.

Traditional rooms with a lovely roof terrace.
Location can be a little overwhelming as situated in the centre of the old town, however ideal if you are looking to experience the true Morrocco.
Defiantly arrange a transfer through the riad directly as you will never find it on your own !

“ My brother and I had an amazing stay at the Riad. The room was beautiful and clean; offering a relaxing haven after days spent exploring the souks and city. All the staff were friendly and helpful, however the hostess Sanna particularly helped to make our trip so special. From the moment we entered the Riad she was kind and helpful; offering advice, recommending restaurants and booking taxis for us. We will definatley be returning on our next trip to Marrakech!

“ Fabulous . Great experience Staff were lovely and helpful. The Riard made our holiday superb. Definately stay there again. Food was superb . made some super friends with Isabelle and Dominique and Sanaa hope to stay in touch with them these speacial people make the Riard.
“ Top Tip: Marrakech Museum was stunning Atlas Mountains a must see but abit cold on this particular day Souks were a great experience Jardin Majorelle was beautiful
