“ On arriving at Riad Vert we were amazed at how it looked exactly as on the website. It was an oasis of calm after the bustle of Marrakech. We were greeted as friends and given mint tea and cakes before being shown to our room.

“ The Riad was excellent, and the staff delightful and very helpful. Meals were of a high standard. The only drawback was the location, in an impovereshed area, although once inside the Riad, it was an oasis of calm.

“ On arriving at Riad Vert we were amazed at how it looked exactly as on the website. It was an oasis of calm after the bustle of Marrakech. We were greeted as friends and given mint tea and cakes before being shown to our room. The room was lovely, very clean and decorated in wonderful colours. It was kept spotlessly clean during our visit as was the whole of the Riad. The roof terrace was a lovely spot to relax and we took advantage of this every afternoon after our excursions. Towels are provided for use with the sunbeds which is an added bonus. We dined at the Riad each night and can only say the quality and quantity of the food cooked by Fatima was excellent. A different tagine every evening, with lovely starters and deserts. We exchanged money at the Riad (and received a very good rate of exchange) and were advised by Isabel on where to go and how to get there, we were even provided with a map of the city. You can use the taxi service the Riad offers, which is good value for money and is a phone call away when you want to return. Our only regret is that we didnt stay long enough. We will be returning. Thankyou Isabel and Sanaa and all of the staff for making our first trip to Marrakech so memorable.

“ Isobel and Sanaa are so welcoming and endlessly helpful. Do definitely take their advice about getting around the city and souks - and make use of taxis occasionally as a respite from the bustle of the route to or from the riad. We loved the riad - such a wonderfully calm retreat. The roof terrace was especially welcome after a day pounding the city streets in temperatures of 37° - with Sanaa bringing up a cooling glass of fresh orange juice or a bottle of chilled Moroccan rosé... Lovely! We had three dinners at the riad and ate out twice, in restaurants recommended by Sanaa - all food delicious, though mostly tagines! We're into museums, buildings and gardens and recommend visits to the Bahia Palace, Badii Palace, Medersa Ben Youssef, Marrakech Museum, Majorelle Gardens and the Berber museum inside the gardens. Also the trip to the Atlas mountains is well worthwhile - wonderful to get out of the city and see a different side of Morocco - Isobel or Sanaa will arrange it for you. Riad Vert was a really lovely place to stay and we thoroughly recommend it.

A lovely oasis in the bustle of Marrakesh. Great place to stay. Very helpful staff on trips and places to go. Arranging anything from meal's to taxi's near and far.
Quiet, clean and charming as it says on the label.
“ Top Tip: Ask them to arrange the Taxi's from the airport as driving would be a nightmare!

“ A well managed little oasis of calm in the heart of the Medina. The management and staff couldn't offer a better and more friendly service.
“ Top Tip: Step out of the front door and you are immediately immersed in the life of the Medina.
