“ This was a really interesting experience for us. It was very clean and tidy and the breakfasts were excellent. The manager spoke good english and was very helpful which was an essential aspect for us in Marrakech. However, it was rather noisy at times because of its situation in a crowded residential quarter and it was very shady so the room heater was much appreciated! We wished we had taken warmer clothes.
“ Top Tip: Be aware of any offers of help in the city; they are almost always a demand for payment.

“
We were well looked after in the absence of the owners.
One of our party found the ground floor bedroom a little un-private because of proximity of others (quiet and well-behaved as they were!)
“ Top Tip: About 10 minutes from tourist restaurants like the Wayidine and Ben Youssef, north of the Souks on the main route south.

“ Fantastic riad in everyway. Very good value for money. The manager couldn't have been more helpful. He arranged for us restaurants, taxis, hammams and many other things. He drew endless maps to make sure we didn't get lost. He walked to us to a restaurant on the first night and walked us back afterwards to make sure we got back safely. The riad was also spotlessly clean. It was also quiet, cool and welcoming. It was difficult to fault. Thoroughly recommended.

Hotel was alright, friendly and helpful people.was shocked to see owner and friends drinking alcohol around table on floor that our bedroom was on although they were very pleasant people.
Was given a traditional morrocan meal on last day which was a very nice gesture.
Am hoping to return to same place next year.

“ This Riad was a fantastic place to stay if you want to experience the more traditional Marrakech. It is in the north of the medina and is surrounded by the everyday people of Marrakech, which we preferred to the more modern part outside the medina. As two girls, we did at times feel a little intimidated by the locals outside, however they were never too intrusive and would leave us alone when ignored or told. The two people who run this Riad are extremely helpful and are great people- breakfast was waiting for us every morning and do contact them before you go as they will sort out transfers to the and from the airport.
“ Top Tip: You will get lost!! But this is ok, once you get into the hang of Marrakech, you realise most people are aimlessly wondering and this is when you come across the best finds! Alcohol is expensive, so if you like a drink, maybe pick a bottle up at duty free, but if you do venture out, try the Palais Jed Mahal with a cheesy but great live band and a Michael Jackson impersonator!

“ I really can't fault this hotel on value for money and politeness of staff. The room I was in though was very cold due to the airconditioner/heater not working properly, however there was a lot of hot water so I just had deep baths to warm up. All in all I would stay there again.

“ Very friendly staff in the hotel, couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast much better than the Amalay and the evening meal as well. Only minus point was that the dining room was quite cold and they tended to leave the door open. Good location, handy for train station and bus stops. Very good value for money.

Good value 3 star hotel right next to the old Medina and overlooking the Atlas mountains. One of the best locations in the city for exploring the sights. The hotel has 165 comfortable rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and safety deposit boxes. All have full en suite bathrooms and most have balconies. Room service is available until midnight. There is a restaurant that serves daily specials and Moroccan cuisine. Half board is available (breakfast is buffet and dinner is usually waiter service). “ An excellent B&B. Most definitely not a 4 star hotel. The people running it were very pleasant and helpful, but there is a bit of a language barrier as only the proprietor (Khalid) spoke any English at all.
