Royal Decameron Issil Beach Hotel

“ Beautiful hotel, much better than I hoped, Very moroccan as you would expect, very well kept extensive gardens, we had a lovely bungalow type room with twin beds, block one, room 3, very nice garden view with a orange tree just in front, pool view, British people are in the minority, mostly french, but not a problem at all, food was excellent, my only gripe with this hotel was the music which was constant around the pool area, this is where the animation team are so all the action is around there, weather was great nearing 30 degrees.

“ Top Tip: Djemma el fna square day or night, pay 50 dirhams for taxi fare, they will ask for more at night but stand your ground, taxi from the airport 150 dirhams, we were asked for 500, no way pay this! taxis are just outside the airport but if you walk over to the car park taxis are a plenty!

Take a taxi to the kasbah, it is about 15 minutes walk from the square, there is a department type shop, government run with fixed prices far cheaper than the souks!

“ fantastic time. made to feel really welcome. check in efficient and friendly.animation team enthusiastic and really tried to speak english(most good but said they were not !).
food was good with plenty of choice.limited alcohol choice. bar staff really good.our room was large and bathroom had a seperate toilet!!!!
hotel very clean and attractive.
courtesy bus into town but not at night. no hassle just catch last one down(about 5.45 and taxi back, about 50dh)that way you see the square setting up.
would we go back???????? you bet, i already looking.

“ Top Tip: horse and cart trip around marrakesh about 200dh for 2.5 hrs with stops for visits to palace etc.
go to square at about 5 go to a roof top bar and watch the crazy world!!!!!!!- 20dh for a coke.

“ Hotel well used could do with a refurb food ok best meal breakfast lunch and dinner hit or a miss food never hot microwave available snack bar good staff very nice.

“ On arrival the hotel looked lovely and in fact the pool is very nice and the grounds are well looked after and the rooms are clean. The food is also good. My only complaint was that the non-stop entertainment everyday - it was very loud like a radio station! Everything was french which i quite enjoyed and no one forced you to join in but it was a bit happy campers and not particularly relaxing at times. Cost about £18 return for taxi into town which i wished we had realised before!
