The Hotel Amine is Great.
The Hotel is Clean and well Equiped.
Staff was friendly and helpfull.
Breakfast was good.
Room Cleaned every day.

Top Tip: I have just returned from my trip to Marrakech.
This was my second trip to Marrakech.
But it was my First trip on my own.
I got cheap Flights from Ryanair.
The flights lasted about 3 hours long.
I only travelled with hand luggage in order to keep cost down.
I morkosh.com for flight transfers and excursions.
Youness and Helen at morkosh are great, very friendly and reasonably priced.
I stayed at the Hotel Amine in Marrakech.
The Hotel was clean tidy and every thing that I needed in the room.
The room was cleaned every day, staffs were friendly and the Breakfast was great.
It was a great base for trips round Marrakesh and further a field.
This was only my second trip out side the uk.
I am slightly more venerable than most, being Disabled.
Friends and relatives where worried when I went the fist time.
But I was with a group of friends.
But this last time I when as a lone traveller.
I had the normal scare stories about Morocco being dirty, dangerous and a strict Muslim Country.
But I had researched it and went with a open mind.
When I got their, found the people friendly and accommodation.
Yes there are some that that will try to get you to pay far more than you need to for things.
But if you know the exchange rate and a few things about the culture you will have a great time.
Learn a few words in French and Arabic (Thank you, No thank you, Hello and Price), will get you a long way and gain you a lot of respect.
Never pay the asking price; Haggling is part of the culture.
When haggling all was smile and remember what currency you have in your pocket and never keep it all in the same pocket.
Haggle hard, they will play the dramatics card, but it is all part of the culture.
When some guides take you through the Medina, they will try to disorientate you.
But do not worry; you are never far from a Exit.
Good tip is to know where the Sun is and the time of day, then you can work out which way you are going.
The Medina can be intimidating, but do not let that spoil your time.
When I was fed up of the attention I was getting I just told them that I had no money, all spent and I was only looking.
All so used the line that I was married to a Moroccan girl and visiting family, that normally gets a good response like I give you Moroccan price.
As for female travellers, where a ring that looks like a wedding ring, if you get hassle from guys you just show your hand and say Married.
Most guys will back of as seeing that.
Marrakesh lives of Tourism.
I felt safer in Marrakesh than in the UK.
Any one thinking of their first trip abroad could do I let worse than going to Marrakesh.
Hotel Amine and Morkosh are great.

Loved it at this hotel, only stayed for 5 days, B&B but found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, with no problems what so ever.
The food was good, I ate my evening meals at the hotel which was 80dh for a three course meal, this equates to approx £6.00 and I enjoyed each one.
Quite a walk to tourist areas and the medina, but a great base to stay, would recommend and would definately stay there again.

Top Tip: Would recommend asking for a map at reception on arrival, these are free and I found mine invaluable for not only finding my way around but locating attractions I was interested in.
The Supratours bus station is a fifteen mins walk down the road, by the train station, from here you can aquire transport to all areas of morocco, I travelled from marrakech to agadir for 100dh which is £7.50. The journey was comfortable and speedy, with a rest stop for food and a drink, I was told it would take 4hrs but it was 3.5 each way, well recommended.

Love this hotel. Right in the centre of Gueliz (the new town in Marrakech), nice little pool, easy to reach the Medina by taxi (it should cost you around 15/20 MAD, easier if fewer people). The room is pretty basic, so don't expect anything near to luxury, but again its price is very reasonable.

Moroccan House Hotel Marrakech is located in Marrakech's Hivernage neighborhood, close to Grand Poste Gueliz, Djemaa el Fna, and Palais des Congres. Nearby points of interest also include Majorelle Garden and Koutoubia Minaret. Dining options at Moroccan House Hotel Marrakech include 3 restaurants. Room service is available during limited hours. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and a steam room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas.

I really can't fault this hotel on value for money and politeness of staff. The room I was in though was very cold due to the airconditioner/heater not working properly, however there was a lot of hot water so I just had deep baths to warm up. All in all I would stay there again.

Customer rating from 14 reviews: 7.3 Good

When coming to Marrakech Las Palmeras is like staying in a private paradise! This 5-star guesthouse benefits from a fantastic location on the Ouarzazate road of Marrakech. It is also conveniently situated a short 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. Guests will love the hotel's bedrooms all in a different theme either of the “thousand and one nights or with beautiful colors surrounding the Moroccan lounge in some rooms, which are all of a good size and decorated in a traditional and comfortable style. They will also enjoy relaxing around the outdoor swimming pool on a lounge chair and if they feel like getting into the Moroccan traditions, the Moroccan lounge will be just the perfect spot to have a home made mint tea, a refreshing drink or a snack in the evening

It was an absolutely excellent and well run efficient place. I would go back again and again. Reccommended
